Throughout 2011, Mount Horeb will celebrate a Sesquicentennial milestone. 150 years of fantastic history, since the village was named! Businesses who would like to participate in showcasing the Sesquicentennial logo to add to their business documents and advertising, must submit a form to the Chamber Sesquicentennial Committee at the Chamber of Commerce (printable PDF).

Celebration activities are planned to tie in with the city’s annual events: Frolic parade and fireworks, Art Fair, Thirsty Troll Brew Fest and Fall Heritage Festival, just to name a few. For a complete listing of 2011 area events click here.

Local government, historical and cultural organizations, are also planning special events; Village of Mount Horeb, Mount Horeb Historical Society, Landmarks Foundation, Mount Horeb Public Library-Online Local History,  Mount Horeb Area School District, and Forte Studios.
