Chamber Network Socials are popular networking events. Network
socials are great opportunities for Mount Horeb Area Chamber members to meet
other members and generate new business contacts. Additionally, they are a
great opportunity to showcase products or show off new or remodeled facilities!
To
host a successful social, here are some general guidelines that the Chamber
suggests:
Socials
are typically held once a month (have been more frequent with Grand Openings)
on a Thursday from 5:00-7:00 pm, but the day/time can certainly vary as
appropriate for your business. Co-sponsors are appropriate and
encouraged.
It
is the host's responsibility to provide appropriate and sufficient food and
beverages. The Chamber member location that you select should comfortably
handle an average of 50 people and corresponding parking.
The
Chamber will provide promotional efforts for the event, including
postcard invitations sent out 2 weeks in advance, broadcast e-mail and
information in the Chamber newsletter. If the host would like to put out
an additional flyer, that would be welcome at your business’s expense. The
Chamber will also provide an additional 20 invitations for customers, employees
from other branches or other guests.
Admission
is free and open to members and non-members. A door prize may be provided if
the host wishes.
Fisher
King Winery offers a 20% discount on wines to those businesses interested in
hosting a social.
